Durand is fortunate to have organizations such as Durand Area Retailers, Trades, and Services (DARTS) and Durand Charm as part of the community. As a result it boasts several great events throughout the year for local residents and visitors to participate.
The Stateline Classics Car Show is held in collaboration with DARTS and is in its 18th year. The event is a celebration of vintages cars and something fun to bring your father to on his big day. The proceeds from the show go special projects and also a substantial amount goes to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. If you would like to participate in the car show or want some more information, checkout statelineclassics.com.
The 4th of July Festival is held annually to coincide with our nation’s Independence Day. It is a multiple day festival organized by DARTS with events like outhouse races, antique tractor pull, small town fair, duck race, and fireworks at the school grounds. Also the festival has a patriotic concert to cap off the event and great BBQ Chicken from the American Legion and local restaurants.
The 16th Annual Durand Biker Bash and Chili Shoot Out was September 8, 2018. The Bash brought in hundreds of motorcycles and motorcycle enthusiasts alike. There is a Chili Shoot Out earlier in the day, all day Food, Drinks, Biker Merchandise Vendors and Live Bands! Vote for favorite bikes in various classes.
