Restore Illinois: Bridge Phase

Joint Information Center (JIC) Report as of June 1, 2021

Masking

The CDC and Governor Pritzker updated masking guidelines for individuals who are fully vaccinated. Those who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can now resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing. Everyone must continue to follow masking requirements regarding travel, congregate facilities, and hospital visits including local business and workplace guidance.

Those who are not fully vaccinated should continue to wear a face covering and practice social distancing.

Mitigations

As of May 14, 2021 the state moved to the Bridge Phase. The bridge phase will allow for increase capacities. Metrics for the bridge phase must be met before the state or regions can move into Phase 5. The state is anticipated to move to Phase 5 on Friday June 11, 2021.
