MOBILE OFFICE HOURS:

State Representative John Cabello will be available at Village Hall, tomorrow, Friday, March 3 from 3:30pm-4:30pm. Anyone is welcome to come in to meet and/or discuss any questions or concerns with him and his staff.

IMPENDING WEATHER:

ComEd is closely monitoring a winter weather system that is forecast to enter the ComEd territory around 6:00 a.m. tomorrow.

Rain will enter the territory at that time with temperatures gradually decreasing as we move through the day.  This will change over to a rain/snow mix through the morning and then heavy wet snow around the noon hour.  No ice is forecasted at this time.  The heaviest snow is expected between 2pm-6pm, with accumulations up to 6in- 8in the East/Northeast portions of our territory possible.  The snow lingers until late evening and the system is expected to exit the territory around midnight.  Wind gusts up to 40mph are expected at times, tapering off through the evening as the system exits.

ComEd is adjusting staffing in preparation and will continue to monitor the weather.  I will also be monitoring the storms that develop across our service territory and will provide updates as they become available.

As always, residents are advised to call 1-800-EDISON1, go to ComEd.com or use the ComEd Mobile App to report their outages.

WATER/SEWER/REFUSE BILLING:

The Village utility software has been updated in the past couple weeks. With this change comes payment service improvements to our residents. The Village will switch from the current postcard system to paper bills which are clean and easy to read. Residents will be able to opt-in to paperless billing, auto pay, pay online, in-person (by check, cash, debit or credit) or the Bill Pay box at Village Hall as before, but will also be able to register online to manage payments and see your bill. You will see the postcards for the March mailing, with the paper bills estimated to roll out in April, if all goes as planned.
