Welcome Durand Part-Time Police Officer Alejandro Gutierrez
Officer Alejandro Gutierrez was born and raised in Rockford, IL. Alejandro is the proud son of hardworking parents from Mexico who raised him to become the man he is today — Alejandro is forever grateful for their love and support. Alejandro is the father to two amazing kids who he states, motivate him daily to lead by example. Officer Gutierrez is a Full-Time Officer with the Freeport Police Department and currently serving as a School Resource Officer at Freeport High School. During the summers, Officer Gutierrez runs the Junior Police Academy to help guide and mentor the next generation. Officer Gutierrez is a Juvenile Officer and Certified Breath Operator. Alejandro is passionate about serving his community, mentoring youth, and making a difference every day.
