9:00am – Unveiling of Gold Star Memorial signs
Tom Walsh and Durand American Legion Gold Star Post 676 having been working diligently to honor Durand Gold Star Veterans this Memorial Day weekend. Memorial Signs will be dedicated and unveiled tomorrow, Saturday, May 24 at starting at 9:00a.m, at the 200 Block of South Street (Dayton and South Street area) and progressing through town until all signs are unveiled. To make the tour easy for family and interested community members and to facilitate for better parking, Buses have been provided and will be escorted by Durand PD. Buses are to be boarded at Durand School at 8:30a.m.
